Industry Tours | Tuesday, November 3
All tours include transportation on TARTA-sponsored e-vehicles to the tour destination and back to the Glass City Center.
TOUR 1 – Concurrent Tour
Endera Motors
10:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Endera manufactures premium specialty buses and shuttles engineered for performance, comfort, and long-term value.
The tour will shuttle participants from the Glass City Center to the Endera Motors plant in Ottawa, Ohio. Each way is just over an hour. Attendees will experience Endera’s electric vehicle manufacturing facility and learn about the company’s story and The Ohio Fund’s support for innovation.
TOUR 2 – Concurrent Tour
Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA)
10:00 AM – 1:30 PM
TARTA is one of the few transit authorities in the U.S. with electric vehicles across three categories.
The tour will showcase TARTA’s electric vehicle facilities for full-size buses, micro-transit, and para-transit vehicles.
Following the morning tours, attendees will have time to return, check into their hotels, and take a short break before the afternoon program.
TOUR 3
University of Toledo Innovation Tour
3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
The University of Toledo will welcome EVIS America attendees to experience its Innovation Lab and R1 research facilities. The university’s research, development, and academic programs play an important role in future mobility and innovation.
RGP RECEPTION

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Cap off the day with a special EVIS America reception hosted by the Regional Growth Partnership (RGP).
The reception will provide an opportunity to connect with mobility industry leaders, partners, speakers, and fellow attendees following the University of Toledo Innovation Tour.
Following the reception, TARTA-sponsored e-shuttles will return attendees to the Glass City Center and hotel complex.
There will be a mobile app available for EVIS America and the app will launch by Friday, October 23.
Full Conference Attendees will be opted in for the Networking tool. Your user name and password will provide access to Networking in the Attendee Service Center.
Need to meet one-on-one with an exhibitor? Looking for specific educational sessions or exhibitors? You’ll be able to make appointments with exhibitors, search session topics and exhibitor listings on key words of interest to you and develop your own personalized schedule for the event. You will be able to opt-out if you prefer.

Detroit International Airport (DTW) is the closest airport. It’s only a 44-minute drive via I-275 and I-75.
Glass City Center is located at 401 Jefferson Avenue, Toledo OH 43604 , in the heart of downtown Toledo, a short block from the Maumee River and about 6 miles from Lake Erie. It is an easy drive from Michigan, Indiana and through Ohio via the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90), I-75, I-23 and other major highways.
Several parking locations are within a few blocks of Glass City Center. There are about 250 spaces in our underground garage on Monroe Street at the St. Clair intersection. The Port Lawrence garage is located on St. Clair, opposite the Glass City Center Jefferson Avenue entrance which includes an enclosed walkway into the convention center.
